NASA Selects Integrated Safety Data Reponse Contractor

ProWorks recently recieved great news when we learned that Battelle had been awarded the Integrated Safety Data Reponse (ISDSR) contract from NASA. We had been working very hard alongside Battelle to earn this award. ISDSR is the latest in a series of large scale federal contract that ProWorks will be involved in. Congratulations to ProWorks consulting team that earned this win and will make this project a success.

NASA Selects Integrated Safety Data Reponse Contractor

NASA today announced the selection of Battelle Memorial Institute, Columbus, Ohio, to support research and development of the Integrated Safety Data for Strategic Response project at the Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, Calif.

The project operates under NASA's Aviation Safety Program. Battelle will be responsible for deploying, operating, and maintaining distributed archives of airline industry flight data and safety reports; and for developing innovative advanced tools to convert and integrate digitally recorded or text reports of aviation safety data.

The five-year performance period of this contract is comprised of a one-year base period and four one-year options. The total estimated cost-plus-award fee for the base period year is $7.9 million. ProWorks Developing New CRM Analytics Software for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0

Since 1987 ProWorks has been developing custom data analysis software that provided the user with insight and understanding about the data set. Our first solutions analyzed tremendous amounts of fight data to discover trends and outliers for none other than NASA. The results of these analyses were made available to aviation safety experts in order to identify and explore potential safety hazards. This project was called the Aviation Performance Measuring System (APMS) and produced The Morning Report software tool which won an R&D 100 Award in 2006.

The early success of APMS lead to ProWorks developing additional data rich reporting systems for NASA called the Aviation Safety Reporting System (ASRS) and the Patient Safety Reporting System (PSRS). In the private sector ProWorks developed a customized production analysis and reporting system for Hewlett Packard called KEW Analysis. The software analyzes the data collected from samples of inkjet cartridges in order to insure production quality. In an increasingly data rich environment, data analysis is as crucial as ever in a wide variety of settings and industries. ProWorks is applying nearly 20 years of software development and data analysis experience to create new data analysis software to help businesses gain measurable value from their CRM systems.

CRM data analysis or analytics has been available for several years to large corporations that are able to implement enterprise wide CRM systems such as Seibel. However, advanced analytics have not been readily available to small and mid-size businesses (SMBs) mainly due to the cost of implementing a CRM system. Today affordable CRM systems are becoming available to SMBs and CRM analytics can deliver critical understanding and insight. Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 is a CRM designed to appeal to SMBs and ProWorks will release software add-ons to Microsoft CRM 3.0 that will add valuable analytic capabilities to the system.

We have begun to apply our analysis technology for early adopters, defining segments, identifying purchasing trends and predicting future sales opportunities based on CRM data. ProWorks is continuing to partner with CRM users in order to refine the software and its usability. If your organization would like to explore the value hidden within your CRM data please contact us at crm@proworks.com for a free consultation.
