ProWorks Attends the Department of Energy's 6th Annual Small Business Conference

Susan Prothero, Principle Owner and Gary Prothero, President of ProWorks recently attended the Department of Energy's 6th Annual Small Business Conference in Nashville, Tennessee.

The U.S. Department of Energy Matchmaking Forum was offered as an oppurtunity for small businesses to meet face-to-face with procurement representitives of DOE prime contractors and other government agencies.

Based on previously submitted information describing ProWorks' skills and services, ProWorks was matched with Bechtel Nevada, the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, the State of Tennessee Transportation Department and Bechtel SAIC Company. In addition, Susan and Gary had a chance to meet with Rosita O. Parkes, the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the Department of Energy, the U.S. General Services Administration, and Pacific Northwest National Labs.

We have followed up with dozens of new contacts that Susan and Gary collected during the conference. ProWorks is hopeful that these will lead to some new partnerships and build on our existing portfolio of successful government sub-contracts.
